During the last months Henk Oldenkamp has dedicated his time to the Little Box Challenge, which is organized by Google and the IEEE. The challenge is to develop the smallest 2 kW power inverter.

In September Henk Oldenkamp was notified that team OKE-Services was selected as one of the 18 finalists out of 650 teams worldwide. Team OKE-Services consists of Henk Oldenkamp only. The effort was financed personally and independently; no grants were received.

The 18 finalists will meet in Denver on 21 October 2015 to hand over their prototypes to NREL laboratories for review and testing. The grand prize winner will be announced sometime in January, 2016.
